2 Spring Travel Outfit Ideas
Spring is just around the corner. As things warm up here in the desert, I like to travel more. Visiting friends and family and exploring new places are at the top of my list this year.
There are three things I always consider when picking out my travel outfits: layers, comfort, and style.
Layering is important when traveling. I tend to get cold easily on airplanes, so having an extra layer with me allows me to stay comfortable throughout my travel days. Also, depending on whether you are traveling to and from destinations with different temperatures, it’s best to be prepared with layers.
Sitting for long periods while traveling means a comfortable outfit is also important. When choosing travel outfits, I tend to stick to leggings, joggers, or my most comfortable pairs of jeans.
Style is another thing I consider. You can wear comfortable layers and still be fashionable, so why not choose an outfit with a little bit of everyday style?
Here, I paired leggings with a simple white T-shirt and a denim jacket. I love how soft and comfortable these black leggings are. Plus they are only $14.99 at Target and worth adding as a staple piece to your wardrobe.
I added casual white sneakers and a black visor, both Adidas brand.
Another spring travel outfit idea is pairing jeans with a white T-shirt, a long cardigan, and slides for an everyday dressed-down travel outfit. The sandals are from GDefy, and they are so comfortable. They have an orthotic built right in and are made to be one of the most supportive sandals for your feet and body.
I love wearing them when flying from the desert to Sacramento to see my family. They’re great for warm weather travel and the one-hour flight. (I tend to prefer closed-toed shoes for longer travel days.)
